A Word from the Author
Many may think that Player is a very stereotypical novel about a gorgeous, college football player and the awkward transfer student. However, as a reader I’ve never minded stereotypical as long as it was written well and I often enjoy stories like Player and as a writer it’s a project I had been thinking about undertaking for a long time.
I wanted to write a New Adult Contemporary romance showing that the hero could be strong and protective, even a little possessive, without being controlling or throwing punches at any guy who so much as looks at ‘his girl’, which seems to be a trend in New Adult romances at the moment, a trend I don’t think sets a good example. I hope that Player helps in stopping that trend…
