Overwatch has ben an astounding success for Blizzard and perhaps now they are glad Project Titan was canned. Today they revealed that more than 30 million gamers have played the game since it’s launch.
Blizzard is always coy when it comes to how many people are actively playing their games when they release figures. However, Â even if a large percentage only played it once, it’s still massively popular with gamers. The fact that it’s multi-platform will have helped boost the number numbers making it a huge success for Blizzard.
With constant updates from the development team and plenty of content planned, Overwatch is going to be around for a long time. Hopefully, it will also spawn some spin-offs in the future because it’s a rich world of characters and lore they have created.
